Hey guys
First off I apologise to those who we had confused with events and dates. Dave and I have had a chat and realised that alot of people were keen to fish teams style on the 6th so I have said to go for it anyway. Please read his post on the topic and register your interest.
For those who were wanting a two day event and yes im giving you not much but at least a bit of notice, this one is for you.
It will be a split session weekend. Session times are:
Saturday- 8am til 12pm, 1pm til 5pm
Sunday- 8am til 1pm
Anglers are asked to be at Coode St ramp at 7:00am saturday morning for a quick chat about the weekend.
The format will be shared weight with bags of four black bream per boat per session. Non boaters will be randomly drawn a boater to fish with for each session and they will have to work as a team to get their bag. At the weigh in, the bags weight will be added to both anglers tally. You are permitted to fish with lure and fly only. Fish will need to be 26cm from nose to tip of tail and please dont bend the tail fins down as the fish wont be counted. Boaters need to have up to date insurance and rego on their boat plus PFD's are to be worn when the boat is on the plane and boaters please bring spares. This gathering is not an organised Jiggyjigs.com get together nor is it for the new club. This is something to get people together to fish for a weekend and enjoy themselves. You come along and fish under your own discretion. Im not fussed on livewell size as long as your boat can plane with a full well and two anglers, and the bream come back alive. Usual rules otherwise.
In order to enter I ask that boaters find a non boater or vice versa that will 100% commit to making it down. Without exact numbers someone may miss out and that isnt fair to them. Thats all there is. Thanks to those who want to donate product or special stuff for big bream etc, we appreciate the help and will be very interested in doing it once the club takes off.
First 15 guaranteed boater and non boater entries are in it. New anglers are urged to seek a boater as soon as they can. We want you guys fishing for sure. Boaters please make yourselves available to new non boaters as well. Its a social thing after all. First on the list is first off at the first session, after that the leading boat will leave LAST in the following sessions to mix it up a bit.
Add your names below. Thanks for your patience and interest with this.
