Same story. Worked in Midland then hit the river after that. Things were very different tonight though. The river up near upper swan bridge had broken the banks an the paddocks all around were now fish territory. The current was awsom so i decided to head to to somewhere closer to guildford. The water was just as high there too so i spent the whole time casting from the footpath and dodging bikes. Caught a range of sizes before it got so cold  that i wimped out and went home .

Ahh the good old Crappie Spider.  One of my all time favourites!!!

Nice work mate...some quality fish there.

I was actually very close to stocking a range of Spider Grubs not too long ago but the reaction from most of the customers I spoke to wasn't great so I didn't bother in the end.  Perhaps I should have another look.

I remember those, one of the first plastics I ever fished. That colour used to be wicked up-river in winter, good to see it's still producing!

Now I only use squid so if you could stock some of that it would be great Dave..

weeell.....when carol has lures that wont work for her  she sends them to me and tells me that they are the most  awsomest things ever invented . So i just go out and only take those and nothing else until i get them to work. I do a lot of night fishing now because there are no blowies and nobody sees where your catching plus i get a lot more fish at certain times. And the packet has a Complete Angler sticker on it.

Ha ha funny not Szarn!   Well that's it, this is the last time I'm buying you any more lures upon your request when I go away.  By the way I'm going to HK next year, the best place for reels and lures! Ha!    ... by the way you still owe me $54 for lures!!!

The sp were purchased in the Clearance Section at Complete Angler, Box Hill, Victoria at $6 a pack as no one wanted them!
