I decided to drop by the river on the way home. I thought that my best spot would be vacant due to the fact that it looks as exciting as big brother... I had just had my first cast when P.Mac jumped out from behind a tree faster than a copper with a radar gun. I nearly laid a brick. Anyway , soon we were casting. Now most people that know me will also know that i only have 2 techniques for plastics.... hard and fast or HARDER AND FASTER. However after continually getting thrashed by Tanc i decided to learn his mega slow technique. Painful type fishing but extremely rewarding. We both pulled fish and both got horribly smashed by fish that maybe were not huge but with super light leaders they might as well have been 2 kilo. The Miria craws worked well and even the smallest fish managed to swallow them whole. This is not a problem when you have a pair of offset locking stainless forseps from bunnins craft section inside the tool section at $14 ( someone was gunna ask). It was a great hours fishing. This is not a brag or product endorsement but an example of whats available when you rest the usual heavy fished spots and pick the last place that anyone would fish.eg wide open area with no structure at all in the middle of town.I still havent worked out how to post pics correctly so i will get them up the only way i know how
.

Yeah right, you fixed my boat; I'll believe it when I see it. Regardless still can't be used till I get the livewell looked at and fixed and auto bilge installed. Will have to take a day off work to get it fixed at some shop. Anyway I don't want any old 2nd hand crap. I only use new quality stuff. Oh and considering those Maria works, I'll have them back thanks!
Brad, I bought MY Marias from Ranger's Camping in Balcatta. They have a whole range of SP and HBs which I've never seen in my life.

Well Mr Press sir , if you can provide me with said green maria craws with a side order of 1/16 and 1/12 jigs then i will gladly post many bream on this fantastic bream site for all to gaze upon featuring those awsom jig heads. It would also be an honour to use them at the Tweed comp and the coming weekend social comp and.......aaaaahhh..this sucks . THIS IS A HOLDUP HAND OVER THOSE JIGS AND CRAWS.
and Carol , you may joke but that mouse is history. with this 1-3kg rod and 1kg line with 1kg leader and TT...opps..i mean 1/32 jiggy jig loaded with the finest mouldy cheese gulp minnow he doesnt stand a chance.

Well its finally friday and after a hard days work..ok , a slack day at work i decided to head to the river to see if the bream wanted to play. The weather was crap so the last thing i expected to see was was P.mac warming my spot again. Today he had "Jolly" along with him and both were casting for no results. I tied on a green craw again as i have done good on the brown but lousy on the green so im not using anymore brown until i start catching on the green.I got some light taps right away and within 10 minutes was into a bream. It wasnt huge but at 32cm was welcome. Jolly came and took a pic for me then started working a critter in the same area and was soon onto a small bream that was quickly followed by 2 more which was even more satisfying due to the fact that he was using P.macs new rod and P.mac hadnt caught a thing. I got 2 more fish but they were getting smaller so i packed up and shot off home finsh the housework. woopee.

I thought i would go and drown a craw somewhere down the river. Im getting the hang of these craws so i decided on half hour with a craw and a half hour with a sqidgy critter. The craw worked ok and pulled a couple bream and dropped 2 more on the first 6 casts so i changed to the critter. Within the first 4 casts i was pulling the odd fish and dropping more. Only one was barely legal but a bream is a bream so im not bothered as it was still good fun.
