Well the day was a great success with good support and a beautiful day for fishing. Unfortunately the fish weren't fired up but it was still a great day to be on the water with ya mates!
The results of the day are as follows:
1st: Dror and Bubba with 4 fish for 2.160kg ($480 prize)
2nd: James Graham and Dave Press with 4 fish for 1.635kg
3rd: Dave Oreilly and Szarn Tink with 3 fish for 1.410kg
4th: Pete Degroot and Oly with 3 fish for 1.160kg
5th: Evan Crantson and Deacon Plant with 1 fish for 0.385kg
6th: Vern Pascoe and Hon-Su with 1 fish for 0.380kg
7th: Sean Forward and Gary with 1 fish for 0.365kg
8th: Mark Morris and Peter Sucksmith with 0 fish for 0.000kg.
I need to thank Ev and the Team JiggyJigs guys for all the effort, Sean and Ian Sewell for the Scales and Craig Leatt-Hayter for the weigh bag. Lastly and certainly not least to all the guys that turned up and supported it. The enthusiasm made the work worth it and has eased my mind a bit as we look to build the new Sportfishing Club.
