Hi guys,
What a year 2006 has been for the JiggyJigs team. As most of you know JiggyJigs.com sponsored both the National AOY series and the Classic series here in WA. It was a pleasure to support both series and we look forward to staying involved in the years to come.
In the AOY series the team had 4 members qualify for the National Grand Final!!! A huge effort considering I think only six of us fished the events, with two only fishing 1 event!!! A big congratulations to Brad Yates, David Orsini and Nathan Alsop (and yes me too!!!). Unfortunately only Brad was able to make the trip there, and mechanical failure cost him a chance at a result, however the efforts qualifying are still huge and well worth recognition. As always thanks for the support and good luck next year guys.
In the Swan Classic Series the JiggyJigs team managed at least one team in the top ten at all events, with more than one team in the top ten at most events. There were at least two top 5 placings in there aswell!!! Well done and thanks to Evan Cranston, Mitch Yellin, Brad Yates, James Graham and yes me again too. Also a thanks to Steve Brown and Taro Okamoto for being my fishing partners in two events this year. A big thanks and congratulations must also go to Dave Timms and Craig Leatt Hayter for the professional running of the events and the lending of the boat (thanks again Craig!!!).
What an awesome year it has been. Can't wait for 2007!!!
