Hi guys.
I've loaded my 3500 Caldia Kix up with 20lb Fins PRT braid and having used it a few times now I can say I really like the stuff and am considering using it on my bream rods in the lower poundages. I've found it ties knots well and once it has been used it doesn't leave too much residue (spooling up and first use there was some though).

Just thought I'd pass on my positive thoughts.

Sweet, Im going to take a pacific composite blank that I built up to exmouth this year. Will match it to either my capricorn or penn applause for jigging small cod in around the reef. I was thinking of loading it with 8lb and going for broke with it and 10lb leader.  Those smaller cod grab lures like mad and go straight back for the reef. Its insane fun.  Might have to get a spool of 8lb fins to use as all i have is my 6lb sufix for bream and a 3lb fireline crystal spool which I should rid myself of sooner rather than later.

Dave I've only used it in 4lb and I do like it.  It's strangth is unbelievable.  BUT I find it hard to manage due to its small diameter (and my fat fingers).

I think in future if i buy the brand again I will go to 8lb, not because I need the strength but because I'll find it easier to tie.

That's if I decide Fireline isn't good enough.  Frankly, after trying a range of other lines, I'm still not convinced I need to spend more money.  Maybe if after longer testing I discover that the other lines stay true for a substantially longer time.

Yeah I havent used the light lines yet. I'm also considering the Performance Braid that Yatesy mentions a bit. Might grab a spool of 6lb and 10lb soon. Apparantly its super thin!!!

As I said before, in the 20lb the Fins rocks!!!

Ev, haha sorry mate been busy as and just forget all the time. Useless?, Yes I know. Will give ya a buzz soon mate.
