Eric Grell and his wife Deb have entered the market with their new brand "Egrell Dezignz" to fulfill the craving of Australian anglers for top end quality rods with unsurpassed craftsmanship, design and performance.

Eric has worked in the industry for over 20 years, building and designing rods for some of the biggest name brands in the country including G-Loomis Australia and Strudwick.  With both companies moving production offshore, Eric and Deb decided to service the Australian industry  with their new company.

The blanks used are all custom designed and made to Eric's specification in order to ensure that all rods are perfectly tailored for Australian conditions.  The top series (Egrell) uses High Modulus Graphite, while the "Bear" series uses Intermediate Modulus Graphite.  Both series incorporate Carbon Helix Scrims to increase hoop strength.  The custom blank production has allowed Eric to create an exclusively designed blank aiding in casting performance of the rod with his "Casting Tip".  The rods are super light in weight with both offering good strength.  The guides used are Eric's own imported guides with Silicone rings and Titanium Coated Stainless Steel arms/feet.

The finish on the rods is of the highest quality with incredible binding and expoxy finishes (minimal binding and epoxy to provide the lightest of rods but maximise strength, rod life and performance).  The design and finish of the real seat is another awe striking feature that Eric has designed on all his rods.
